Why was Universal Health Connect created?
The spread of coronavirus (Covid-19) has placed huge pressure on healthcare systems across the globe. We want to make it easy for healthcare professionals to continue with their work remotely, and video consultations are the best way of replicating face-to-face contact.

We believe that people who are in at-risk groups or those who are self-isolating should still be able to contact healthcare professionals and get the care they need. In addition, it is important to continue to take care of patients with long-term medical conditions. This can be done remotely with digital technology.

Universal Health Connect enables and empowers healthcare professionals to continue with their vital work in a safe, efficient and flexible way.
What do I need to connect to a video consultation? Do I need any special equipment or software?
All you need is a desktop computer, laptop or a smartphone (Android or iOS) with a working front-facing camera, microphone and speakers. You need to have an internet browser installed.

Healthcare professionals using the platform can connect to a video consultation with a computer, laptop or a smartphone.

Patients using the platform will receive a link by SMS or email. They can join the video consultation from an internet browser in their smartphone, laptop or computer.
